Just wanted to shout today is my two year anniversary of quitting smoking. I truly cannot believe I did it or made it this long. I have to admit I am quite proud of myself.
For all of you trying to quit out there please know it can be done. It is very difficult but it can be done and the benefits are tremendous. I just so wish I had done it 30 years ago.

I quit smoking 5 and a half years ago. It was not nearly as hard as I expected it to be. (I used chantix and www.quitnet.com to help me quit.) Quitting smoking is the best health related decision I have ever made.
I love being smoke free.

I just celebrated my 4th year of NOT SMOKING this [ast Feb 7th. Feels wonderful, doesn't it?
Thought I "had the devil" beat, but 2yrs after, March 2010 I was dx'd with end stage emphysema! In that mo and year, I had my first bronchoscopy. The doc I had at the time came into my hosp room that evening to give me the results. A long story, but the dumb ass gsve me a prognosis of two, no more than two and a half years of living for me. Here it is almost three years and I'm still here raising hell as always!
