NO, then they may as well make alcohol illegal too. Making these substances illegal only pushes them underground and feeds the blackmarket trade. People will smoke & drink & take drugs no matter what! In any case, who is going to police this "law"? No, our police force is far too busy fighting greater crimes, like rapes, murder, assults, home invasions, etc.

They do real well here in policing the no smoking laws. I never smell it when I'm out anymore! that's GREAT! Instead of fining the smoker, they fine the establishment. Really works. Don't think the substance should be illegal, but they can sure limit where you smoke:>)

Agreed for public places, but here they're trying to take things a bit toooo far. For instance, they want to prohibit smoking in your own home and if you have a cleaning lady working for you, your home is considered a place of work where smoking is not permitted. I would then have to have a designated smoking zone in my home. Also they're talking about prohibiting smoking in your car if your passenger is younger than 12 yrs. So it's OK if your passenger is 13 yrs old??

Ha, its a bit of a joke - our police force can't keep up with real crime!

Think we all know what the prohibition of alcohol causes. Been there done that. Shouldn't we learn from history??? But they do limit where you can drink & what you can do if you've had to much to drink. As far cleaning ladies go,mine are here right now, they're supposed to wear face masks. Think of all the chemicals they breath all day? They rarely wear them!? Go figure:>)

Yes I am sick from second hand smoke and never smoked in my life.is it fair I am sick from someone elses addiction.
