Happy new Year!!
I was at Val's since last Saturday, and then came home Monday, and then drove back yesterday , to spend the new year's eve with her.
Just ck'g in, to let you know how I'm doing.
After 3 weeks, I have now lost 27 pounds!!
I am BREATHING better, walking better, less pain.
I am OFF my blood pressure meds, take less water pill,s off baby aspirin, and am feeling better than I have in YEARS!!
I unloaded by whole car, from being at Val's, all by myself!! That included my 30 pound oxygen concentrator, that I lifted out of the back seat of my car, and then piled all my bags, bi pap machine, and stutt on top of my roling walker, rolled it all into the garage, and then went back out, (with no cane), and backed the car into the garage.
I unloaded everything, and wasn't even short of breath!
I feel wonderful, and this gastric bypass surgery has already made a HUGE impact on my health>
I hope you all had a safe and happy new years eve, and are relaxing and kicking back on this New Years Day 2014!

Bren, thanks so much. I am working hard, at staying on track. It's funny cause when I go on my gastric bypass support group, I read about how people "cheated", and had fried shrimp on new years, and I just think, "NOPE, not me..I"m sticking to this, the right way!!
I fit into my 1st pair of jeans, and haven't worn jeans in 3 years today!!
I can zip, and button them ,but they are a bit too tight to walk around in, and sit in, LO!L!! Another week or so, i'll be sportin' my old jeans, which are in great shape, cause I had gained weight and didn't wear them much.
Just say no to STRETCH PANTS!! I'm moving back into zip up pants now!! YIPPEE!!
