I am glad the prednisone pack helped you. I have no clue what getting numb between shoulders mean, but I know someone on here does and will tell you. i would like to know also.
Quit the arguing, if someone wants to argue, tell them to argue with the wall, because you do not need to hurt your health by getting stressed.
Relax....

BJ, I like your idea of telling someone to argue with the wall. Haha. I have walked away from more than one argument. So not worth it. Maybe it's age, but I just don't care if someone thinks I'm right or not anymore. Meh. Shrug.
Years ago it would have bothered me what ppl thought but today it rolled right off.
Has to be SOMETHING good about getting older
p.s. Very minor stroke, TIA they call it.

I am so sorry you are having to go through all this. Good advice (as always) from BJ, tell the stress-causer to walk away!! Take deep breathes & pray.
Hugs, J
I do have half a Xanax for the BIG emergencies though! =)
funny, i got rid of my greatest stressor years ago, my ex husband. he was just a miserable person that i think liked to argue.
living with a person like that taught me a lot----mainly how i didn't want to be!
i can't change anyone else, but i can change me,
i realized at one point that arguing is just 2 people trying to prove they are "right".
i also realized there can be 2 "rights", even if they are different.
once i realized that, i didn't feel the need to argue with anyone to prove i'm right & they are not.
life got so much easier then and i'm so glad i learned that i can just say "okay" and walk away, even if i don't agree with someone.
have you tried pursed lip breathing when you get SOB & upset?
i find it not only helps my breathing, but is rather relaxing :)
prayers are with you
