i,m off to see my consultant next week ,and have been wondering would having a nebulizer help me
how many of you are on nebs ?
i used one while in hospital and for 10 days after i came home

Mine helps me, I use it every 6 hours. I think it depends on your situation, need to ask the Doc.

Mine helps me too. Ask you doctor tho to be sure of what works for you.
I found out recently that if you can't blow over 100 on that hand held thingie that inhalers don't work well and one needs the neb as opposed to the inhaler.

I've never had to use a nebulizer to see a consultant, however, I find the nebulizer only comes in handy when you run out of your fast acting inhaler, and I am amazed it is the first thing they always give you in a hospital when what you need is oxygen, christ, I can nebulize at home, also, you can get a stronger dose of neb if ya ask for it

I use a nebulizer 4-6 times a day.
For me it has been of great benefit , I even carry a portable when I go out.
Wouldn't hurt to ask about .

I personally think it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor or special team about a nebulizer. I use mine as directed 3 times a day.
I am also on O2 at night and as needed during the day.

I use it when my inhalers don't seem to be working. I have also used one while in emergency or admitted to the hospital to open up my airways so that supplemental oxygen will be of better benefit.

Like others have said, it's best to talk to your doc about it.

I like my neb.. the meds are a bunch less expensive than the inhaler. I stilluse the inhaler when out and about since my neb isn't portable but I do feel the med "gets in" better with the neb.

I have a portable nebulizer that runs on batteries. It's great to have when electricity isn't available.

After this last hospital visit I was sent home with a prescription for a nebulizer and it does help cough up all the junk.

i use one a duo neb 4 times a day, and it helps me alot along with spriva, 4 inhaler 2 puffs each time, and flo vent and on depression meds and anti-anxiety meds, talk to your doc tell him/her you were wondering if it would help! and if he/she says no ask why?
my doc is a ARNP, best care i've ever had . thank you "Doc Nancy"

I use the nebulizer when needed...and it's pretty obvious when it is needed. I mix the albuterol with ipratropium bromide (liq.solutions). It does make one somewhat dizzy afterwards...so it is best to slowly walk around when completed. And of course....don't forget to rinse your mouth thoroughly when done!!! I rent the electric nebulizer from the oxygen company. $5.00/month!!! Good luck, dear.
