My medical clinic started just recently implementing the MyChart system of putting your record online so you can access them at any time by using a passcode . It is new to our clinic so there are still bugs to be worked out in the scanning and input of you recent tests and doctor visits. You can also do some updating of your family history that your doctor may not have.
You can message for information, request refill of RX and be a litte more in control of your information, My daughter has used it with her doctor in New York for a couple of years and really loves the convenience of pulling up information for another doctor.
The link below will give you a brief description but You should ask your medical facility if they participate in this system. Usually the larger the more likely that they do. The system is linked only to you and your medical system and they will give you a temporary access code to set you account up in their facility.
Some days getting thru on the phones is enough to put anyone into a panic mode and late yesterday afternoon I just sent a message to my doctors office and within an hour she have emailed me back the answer.

My sister lives in Seattle Wa. and this system has been in place there for a good while now and she loves it.
Here in my area we can sign up to Wellspan and pick up our test results, but so far that's all we can do.

I have the phone systems with all the recorded messages saying press this button, then press that button then being told you are in a queue. haaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh

But I have different thoughts about it. I can not stand it. It has caused so much stress and trouble in my life that it is not funny. Today is my birthday, my birthday present is seeing my mom depressed because of information she on mychart. They had put information about her family's death and so forth on my chart, mom read it and got so depressed about it that she wants to give up things that made her happy. She was volunteering and she gave that up. I don't know what to do anymore. It hurts to see my mom depressed over doctors, online mychart, having anxiety, having pstd from childhood and later times in her life.
Because of this, I am not a happy person inside. I don't know the correct words to use to describe how I really feel inside. In 2020, I had lost my dad before Easter, now my mom is suffering from so many emotions, seeing the weight she lost is making me feel so out of place.
