i was on prescription stregnth ibuprofen for 4 or 5 years when i was diagnosed with the COPD.
for 2+ years i have been on celebrex because it is supposedly better for stomach (more expensive for sure) so maybeeeeee......

the one good thing is that this shows research into COPD continues & where there is research there is hope.

What a wonderful article. Ibuprofen has always been my first choice for painkillers. Tylenol can wreck the liver. I had that happen in 1980 when I still drank alcohol before the alcohol warning was put on the bottle and my Dr told me last week that the ALL DAY STRONG Aleve tablets (just 2 for all day relief) are the worst of all on the stomach....worse than ibuprofen so I'm back to using ibuprofen again. Maybe it can fix my lungs and help my back and headache.

I'd think twice before taking that much Ibuprofen daily. Some
bellies can take it and others would react violently.
