well .... you know that had to be BS right... BUT ..... it turns out ...... I was very ill over the winter with flu/pnuemonia and then I had what they said was 'fever' ... anyhow I had been previously diagnosedin 2009 with an xray as having a little emphysema .... , anyhow because I was so ill last xmas I was sent for a CT scan , (they were looking for sarcoidosis) ...anyhow (I know its a long story) the results from the CT scan came back and said NO EVIDENCE OF EMPHYSEMA ! ... apparently the xray had picked up a bit of scarring at the bottom of the left lung ...so , they said I still have 'copd' but as long as I dont start smoking again and look after myself I should be O.K ..............................................is that good or what ?

i dunno Debs it WAS down by almost that much on one test , anyhow they did another a month or so later and it was back up to around 60% , and then they tried me on spiriva , wated 1 hour and it went up by a further 17% , so they have me on spirive full time now , although tbh , I dont take it every day cos I feel fine

Pete, Spiriva is great! Use it everyday. I can tell if I'm an hour late with mine. Make sure you gargle & spit after you do it :>))

yeah it was altering my voice at first .. kinda croakey , but seems to be o.k now ... hey Debs , I thought I remembered you sayin you were getting , that new inhaler , I forget what its called now .. or is my memory having one of those days
