well .... you know that had to be BS right... BUT ..... it turns out ...... I was very ill over the winter with flu/pnuemonia and then I had what they said was 'fever' ... anyhow I had been previously diagnosedin 2009 with an xray as having a little emphysema .... , anyhow because I was so ill last xmas I was sent for a CT scan , (they were looking for sarcoidosis) ...anyhow (I know its a long story) the results from the CT scan came back and said NO EVIDENCE OF EMPHYSEMA ! ... apparently the xray had picked up a bit of scarring at the bottom of the left lung ...so , they said I still have 'copd' but as long as I dont start smoking again and look after myself I should be O.K ..............................................is that good or what ?
and a big HI to all you nut cases on here .... I finish my masters degree soon , so I will be back on here ,

OK, but you have to stay quit & don't hang out with other smokers smoke. Also, no sniffing paint thinner & that other thing we both like, will have to be ingested. You're going to have a good life & very good career. If you take back that comment that my Scottish peeps are heathens, we can call off the duel. Wouldn't want to hurt you now that you're cured. Just wouldn't be right :>)))

look Debs , you scots are whiskey swillin heathens I am afraid ... the romans couldnt tame you and neither can us English .. I am afraid the duel is still on ... I only DRINK my paint thinners nowadays ... see you at the wall ...heathen :)

ohh a happy time indeed ... its that word emphysema thats the real worry isnt it ... I felt like I had been given my life back (off Debs too) when they said ..no evidence of emphysema..or sarcoidosis
Dig, was about the only person who kept saying DONT BELIEVE X RAY results, and I knew there was truth in that , but as people we tend to believe what the doctors tell us dont we... and for me anyhow , it goes to show how subjective illness can be ,, I mean I WAS very ill over the last winter ... and in my head I am thinkin .. ohh nooo I am getting worse faster , and the breathing test absolutely backed that up ...down by almost 50 % . , so it just goes to show those tests are just that ... tests
