It is hard but you can do it. Find something to do with your hands, like a puzzle, sewing, ect. Join that smokers group,
Be happy and proud of yourself that you have won out over that nasty stuff, and don,t forget to reward yourself when a week has gone by, then two weeks, ect.
Hang in there Boo, you can do this!!!

Even though I have only been participating in this group for 3-4 days, since my diagnosis was last Friday, I want you to know I'm praying for you. I am about to be in the same situation. I have a pack and a half left and then THAT's it. I expect my quit date to be Wednesday. And it sounds so easy to do when you just talk about it. But i KNOW how hard this is going to be. I am resolved to quit this horrid habit, but i know it will be tough.
Hugs and good luck to you,
steff
You definitely will be on the right track if you quit. I am clocking in at 94 % on 2 liters right now...., but my chest aches, and it 's saying, THANK GOD YOU STOPPED SMOKING THOSE AWFUL THINGS!!!!!
Let me tell you, i did stop for 3 weeks, and it felt good, food tasted better, i felt better.
I even notice after a day or two of stopping, that tight cough, loosens up, and you can actually BREATH better!
I hope you both do it, we can support each other right?
Good luck, and join me on my healthy journey. I'll help you as much as i can via email/phone/chat...whatever we need to do this!

I'll be praying for the three of you. It's hard, but possible. I tried to quit many times over a two year period. I failed time and time again, but just kept going at it. I will be celebrating my 1 year mark in March. You guys can do this to! :)
