I have noticed that by the time I shower, dress, make up the bed and get my 02 ready I'm not only extremely sob but pretty much out of the mood to do what ever it was that I had planned to do.
Through trial and error I have discovered that I need to schedule no more than one major thing a day. And that the best time for me to do anything is between about 10AM and 2PM. (Of course this could change at any time without any warning! lol)
Good luck on baking your cake. Don't make chocolate cream cake for Denny, make vanilla with pretty icing for me, okay?
Blessings to you, Vicki
i find i have "a window of time" from about 12/1pm to about 4/5pm; during that time is when i need to make an appointment for or go shopping or do things around the house.
if going out, i need to bathe, wash my hair etc the evening before during my "window of time" or i am too tired by the time i get dressed to go anywhere.
at home is easier and i have learned to do a little, sit a little, do a little, sit a little. one day i may change my bedding & do laundry (thank goodness its only me to do for)
another day i may dust, another day vacuum.
i used to get so discouraged that i couldn't get all done in a day like i used to, but realized if i do 1 thing a day in 7 days i have 7 things done :)
i don't cook, i microwave---so your cake sounds ablolutely wonderful= choose it for today :)
