I don't know about headaches, but, so long as you're not going all roid rage whacko...let's just say I'd take the slight hangover feeling :)

Yes..on the headache.

Thanks I almost feel like I have a flu.
I do have the shakes like I'm in DTs.
This is my first rodeo with pred. My Dr insisted that I keep a pack with my eppi-pen. I almost didn't fill script because I figured I wouldn't need them.....so glad I did or I think I might have died the other day.

I do not know how your blood pressure runs, but prednisone can make it higher, which will cause headaches. Sometimes we have to wade thru the bad things to get the good relief...

Yes my BP and heart rate are both up. My eyes each have headaches of their own. Using cold cloths. This episode has really kicked my butt.

Oh Kitties, I still have my two glasses of wine each evening and I don't have headaches. Prednisone gives me all kinds of side effects and that is why I avoid steroids. I did have to have a cortisone shot when my knee was doubled in size due to arthritis. Johns Hopkins says that steroids should be given only for severe COPD and I like JHU because they were a big help when my late husband had pancreatic cancer. But who knows?

We all react differently and I hope your Dr can be of help.
