jamsnjazzy, I have been exercising at home because I could not afford the rehab and my insurance at that time would not pay for it unless I was real bad off. Now that I have medicare, the doc is putting me back on the list to go to rehab, but I told him I am not paying for it. ($120. week for 6 weeks) He said it should be covered now, so we will see.
Anyway, mine is so bad anything will help, because I can barely walk four minutes withut giving out. BUT went 8 minutes on the treadmill at the lowest setting and it didn't do a thing. My pr went up to 105. But if I walk across the room it shoots to 110-120 within minutes. I don't understand that...oh well.....who ever does mine will either have to slow down or wait for me to catch up!!

Denise...sorry, I just saw your question...It was a regular paced walk for myself, sats starting dropping right away...I"m not on O2 yet though and I pray I won't be for a very long time.

DennyGene, I really thank God for you. Your website suggestions are wonderful places to get information. I have gone to everyone you have recommended. Also, I see that attitude is really what can heal you the most. If you let it get to you, you are attributing to it, but keeping positive defeats it!

WOW! I haven't seen those good numbers since before I was diagnosed. Meaning I've never seen them. I've been living with an FEV1 at about 20% for 10 years :>O
