I do have a question though. I was surprised to hear you say her Medicare was running out. I know nothing about Medicare yet, but I thought that lasted until someone passed away as long as they paid the premiums every month. Is that not the case? I'm just wondering because I'll be looking into Medicare a little next year to start preparing for retirement in a couple of years.
She will still have her premium due for Medicare, and she will still have coverage for Dr's appointments, and meds etc...Just not the nursing home care.
