In my mind, most diseases are genetically predisposed; or caused by our lifestyles (and/or both). I have the opinion, that long after I am gone; much progress will be made in genetics----
and that will lead to groundbreaking information about various diseases. It would explain why many smokers never get cancer
or COPD. It would explain why those that have never smoked end
up with lung cancer, or COPD. Just my own ideas. I am not a scientist or doctor.
