I have been thinking about dropping a classes next term and just go to part time for a few and see if I can handle that better. Right now with three classes and homeschooling my 7 yr old and an almost 20 month old son, its been hard to get my work done. I just dont want to give up on it, but i am about to the point. I jus think that going from 3 classes to 2 classes, even for one term could be a good thing for me. Any thoughts?

If you really can't handle three classes right now, then you have every reason to drop one. I definately wouldn't recommend totally quiting but its understandable that you need to cut down. I have an 8 month old and take classes online. He goes to daycare while I am at work and then stays there for two hours after I get off work so that I have two hours to do my school work without worrying about him. I feel bad keeping him in daycare while I am at home, but it really helps me out. Have you thought about childcare? I think most states have child care grants for any student with children under 12, if money is a problem for you. I am taking advantage of the Minnesota state child care grant and I love that my school financial aid is taking over my daycare so that I can work and do school without worrying about taking care of a baby while I am doing it.

I am trying to get ahold of the people at my school so that I can talk to them about me dropping a class. I dont know what they offer here for child care. I know where I am from they pay for so much of it and the parent pays the rest. I did it with my oldest son when I was working and first started school, then i went to night classes and my dad watched him. we thought about a mommys day out at a church but we havent found one we like yet. we are still getting used to the area, it has changed alot since i was a little kid and come down here during the summers. I try to get as much as i can done while he is taking his nap but i also try to get my house work done and do work with my oldest who is homeschooled. but i talked to my mom and boyfriend and they both said that if i feel that way then i should do it. i dont want to quit but the only other way to do something about it is by taking 2 and not 3 classes. so i think that i am going to do.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
