Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. a healthy whole relationship.
My question to you, is your mum a narc? an
addict? or untreated hard headed stubborn
codependent.
My mother i believe is a PD narc. i give her
boundaries and i do call her on her stuff.
Nothing seems to help and nothing ever has.
She was even in alanon for 20+ years. She
was calmer during those years she just never
reflected on her own deeper issues.
She is the same or worse at 85 and on opiates.
I say God bless us, the children, Hugs
Great discussion, everyone!
out the words narcissism/narcissistic
This is a good discussion. i have tried everything
under the sun for years with my mother. She always
went around me using others to get at me if so
needed.
i still owe my ex an amends one day. He was my
shield a lot of the time. His own mother was not
so great either.
We both had narc mothers mine worse than his
And in the end we were both were deeply wounded
