Help, I am having a hard time dealing with my day to day pain. I guess, I am looking some strategies to help deal with pain. I just need a day or two of some relief from pain. My doctors don't understand why I continue to have so much of pain. They thought the surgery would help, then PT would help; however they didn't help as much I hoped. I guess I am really looking for some support. Husband and brother really don't understand. Brother thinks all I need to do is exercise more. Husband, has trouble dealing with me having pain, so I don't say much to him. Getting it off my chest helps. Thanks for reading.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

And it's always good to get stuff off your chest. :-) Helps so you don't bottle it up. And from experience I know that is never good.
I am not sure what your pain is stemming from? Could epsom salts baths help? Swimming , or hot tub, putting a board in between mattress / elevating the head of your bed? Just some ideas .
I hope others who have been dealing a long time with Chronic pain can stop by and give some suggestions. I would sure welcome them too.
take care , and know I care ----

I noticed that your a teacher who works with Special Ed/Behavioral Challenged Children. I'm sure that can be a very physical and stressful job. Dealing with that each day probably ads to your pain, it's a tough job.
If you'd tell us a little more about where your pain is maybe we can give you some suggestions on how to help alleviate it for a while. Can't promise days, but maybe a few hours or so?
Take care,
Kat
sadly, there are many who have been dealing with chronic pain for years, but - yay!! they may have some great suggestions that will help you!
i like that we can be here for one another and the other people in our lives are not....how to say it....brain cramp - don't know how to say it - but friends on here get it and there is nothing like that. it is a comfort to be understood and accepted.
you may need a different dr. or a different approach with your dr. or even a different type of dr. alltogether. would you mind sharing more so we can understand better?
glad you are here, elizabeth
