Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Now, I can smile again. I have to be careful not to use my hand too much or I have to kick my SCS into high gear and leave it there for days. My doc is nice enough, but he's making me do OT, which IMHO is making it hurt more, longer, and more often. I just can't seem to get him to see it my way. Typical doctor.
Good question.
If I do not sleep or get enough sleep, during the week I go back to sleep right after my husband leaves for work around 6:30 and sleep 2-3 hours. During the week, I plan to go to the gym after I wake up the second time. I hope to work up to being down there for at least two hours 4x a week and try to get a walk in around our neighborhood on two of the days and take Sunday off.

Mornings, before I have moved around too much, are the best. It gets worse as the day goes on and depends on how much I do. I do everything physical right after breakfast because after lunch, I'm done for the day. I need to lie down then.
Evenings, if I'm lying down watching a movie, feels good too, and bathtime is really good. I feel little pain in the water these days. But that's only if I have not had a difficult day.
The worst is after I have walked. So I have given up on walking unless I have to (errands, etc.).
Around 1:00pm. Many, many days things are put off til that time rolls around. Hate mornings can't move & can't think, cant even hold the soap so showering is more of a chore & bending down picking everything up I drop. That ends up being my work out for the day if I attempt to shower in the morning.
