Terrible, horrible awful very bad day.....
So after being out of it most of the day I went outside to get the mail, I felt how nice it was outside for a change so I made a decision, I was gonna go out for a walk. It had been so long since i even went around the block, and I've been so down lately I figured I would give it a go.
So I got my 3 yr old daughter dressed, threw on my shoes and a light jacket, grabbed my phone and cane and headed out. Now usually I would take my chair out and have the baby in my lap, but as some of you might know my chair was taken from me recently. So I got a block and a half away and it was glorious, breeze on my face, the sun on my head, the smell of fall in the air and best of all my daughter giggling and running around me because she was so happy to be out with me.
It was all short lived, halfway through my little escape my daughter runs around me and grabs my cane to spin on and down i go....
I was able to get my hip back in place on my own, my daughter was so scared i had to carry her home with the arm that didn't get hurt, which means no cane. I make it home and my son helps me put my shoulder back in, we try unsuccessfully to fix my elbow but i ended up going to the e.r for that. So now I'm home somewhat worse for the wear. i think next time i am feeling brave i will just sit on the porch to feel the breeze....
