I would remind him he married you for better or worse!

I did remind him its for better or worse, maybe he wants to pay all the bills, with me gone? I feel like going to Texas and recovering from surg., to my family.

Your problem just broke my heart. Perhaps you could calmly remind him that his health will sooner or later cause problems too. It happens to everyone. Also, being out of work for 4 weeks is not really long. Soon you will be working again and slowly you will make patments on all of your bills. Try to remind him that everything isn't falling on him and that the pressure is making him behave as though everything needs to be paid immediately. I hope this helps you.

men, you cant live with them and you cant kill them without anyone knowing, i have been married to 20 years and everyoe has there ups and downs, but it really makes me mad when i hear stories like this that you are going thru so much and he is worried about the bills

i would tell him to shut up and pay the bills and when i am good and ready to go back to work i will and if you keep it up i am going to go to Texas to be with my family.

i can relate to your story. my husband just went off today about money and the bills. i pay a lot of bills but i have been off since the beginning of jan. i just finally after all this time got my first check on monday. so the only month i didn't pay was in march(i had some pay owed to me) we all have health problems in this house and the last thing any of us needs it fighting. especially about money. i am always the one in my family who tries to make this a peaceful house. we are too old and been married too long for this s***. so i hear you. i also needed to vent. best of luck.

Really when our Queen gets hurt we can get very lost and scared.(I Did not say that)Donn't feel sorry for use we my get mad.(in this) Let's see how can you SLAP us out of this?? Somtimes this works the other way. It's not always the men ;). I had terrible pain for 12 years. It cost me $500,000+ in income and a lot of missed opportunities. My wife stuck by me for the first 9 years, but turned into a bedeveling, belittling, insulting know it all in the 3 years since. I'm fortunate to have found a treatment that has almost eliminated my pain over the past year and a half. Our relationship has gotten better, but she still doesn't understand or realize how destructive her attitude and negative support were to me. I don't know where i'd be today if I hadn't found an answer, I fight my way back every single day. She got downright mean and sometimes I get mean just becuase she needs a little of her own medicine, but really it makes me feel bad if stoop to that level. I just keep on trying to rebuild myself and career and keep a positive attitude. I use a great deal of patience, but still every day I wonder if I need to get away to complete my recovery. Being treated like the while in pain was terribly descructive to self-confidence and other aspects one needs to function best they can. I hope you can somehow educate him that a lot of people in pain have suffered severe financial loss. The only way to overcome it is to work together and put all the blame aside. Good Luck. H.

ok, now he's not speaking to me at all! I dont know what to say or do?I cant have surgery when I cant rely on him to take care of me.I feel like he doesnt even like me sometimes.

honor please have your surgery and get better, he will get over it, i know you are scared that the bills wont get payeed and that might be, but if you wait for the right time there never will be one

i am sorry that your husband is giving you so much grief at a time like this but that is his problem not yours, i see a lot of married couples that merge their lives together completely then this happens and it hard to make a decision with out their ok

me and my husband like i said before have been married for 20 years but i still have my identity and he still has his when i quit my job that i worked for also 20 years he never knew me to work anywhere but there i didnt even ask i did it and then told him he was shocked of course but it was my decision

So sorry you have this added stress to add to the health problems. I have no advice for you... since I don't have a husband I can't really comment. But I do really feel for you with having to deal with it. Best of luck in sorting it out... xxx

hubby has back issues and is hurting bad, he said if he could have surgery tom. to help pain he would, so, my surg is on hold?
