Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Imodium can be good to stop losing fluids. The nausea and vomiting can be controlled with Compazine suppositories or something in that category. Get lots of fluid down, and really pace yourself.
Will be praying for you. Take it slow.

The pain should not last this long..
It is probably a good idea to get checked out. Lately, there has been talk about some shigella bowel infections and we have been screaming patients in ER for it.
Also, diverticulitis and colitis may resemble stomach bugs.
If you can try to go to an urgent care with CT and Xray capabilities as well as a lab. ER would be better.
Maybe it is just the stomach bug, but abdominal pain is nothing to fool around with, especially when it lasts for over 2 days.
Hope you will be feeling better soon!
If you have a breakthru med that can be broken into pieces, take as small an amount as you can. That should stop the symptoms somewhat if it is withdrawal. If not, you will have more info for a doctor to figure out what is troubling your tummy.
Be careful about taking your pain med full dosage right away. THe body builds a tolerance to these things. You likely know how well you adapt to your medication. But It's easy to assume our normal dose is just fine and overdose depending on how well your body tolerates your dosage and what those doses are. Just be careful
Keeping you in my thoughts. Life just seems to hit us below the belt ,much too often doesn't it.
Not sure if you work in front of a computer? If you do and if your eyes are sensitive, try to take regular breaks from looking at the screen. So you don't feel worse.
Cups of green tea or the sorts.
I wish I could be more help. I hope you will be gentle with yourself and not work too hard while feeling unwell.
Hugs
(((HUGS)))...I really hope you are feeling better soon but I would definitely try to do what Aronia suggested because that's quite a long time for a stomach bug.
