Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I think the key to the sleeping/snoring/pain thing is tolerance, lots of humor...and other beds available...and then meeting back up in the middle when one is a bit more...erm...awake...lol...
So after we spent $3,000+ on a bed that he wasn't allowed to sleep in did he finally decide to take my advice and so get a sleep study. Turns out he has 2 forms of sleep apena, the first is where he stops breathing (nothing to do with me smothering him with the pillow). He also has a form of sleep apena where not only does he stop breathing (again without my help) but his brain does not register that he's not breathing in order to wake him up. He would have either choked to death or had a heart attack in the near future. He has to sleep with a Bi-pap machine, little different from the C-pap. He's able to sleep with me and I get this pleasant white noise from his machine. And if he pisses me off I can just crimp his hose and cut off the air while he's sleeping just for a second to show him who the real boss is in the house. LOL just kidding (maybe)
So all of you with snoring spouses, send them to a sleep study and get a new bed! :)
