Well I get muddy footprints in bed as Shep is ok with rain and has muddy no grass left areas outside as well as doggie doors. Just read about chiwawa that was scooped up by owl at 4:30am be careful with the little one as the owls live to hunt and get hungry enough to take small dogs.

My little pipsqueak came to bed very wet. A search for why uncovered that he had been his usual bad self. He got on the table and knocked over my sister's leftover glass of milk. Then he threw a fit when I tried to dry him off.

I haven't had little dogs with enough energy to jump on the dining room table in a long time. Thankfully! My 2 small dogs can't get up there.

When I had my German Shepard I had to be careful. One year I made a train cake for my son's birthday. I stepped outside to call the family in and by the time I got back inside she had stolen the caboose!

It rains all the time in Florida it seems, so all my dogs have raincoats. Then I have dog towels at the front door to wipe feet.

I was online at a dog store yesterday looking at stuff and saw doggie mats to come into house on and not get things muddy/wet after walking on the mats....I thought about it but cost is pretty high...I think I will just buy a piece of cheapo scrap carpeting at a rug store and stick that by the doggie door...My big problem is when the rain comes I get muddy footprints everywhere....

You guys know I love my doggies. No news is bad about my fur babies! I find the mat idea interesting but forgot the door scrapes tile floors in mud room where they come in muddy. Cant add rug or mat where door would open but minght get a small rug that can fit past where door opens and thru into kitchen a few feet but would need to tack it to floors with double sides tape as Shep bust out in full run for doggie doors when he hears noises outside to bark at and rug would slide unless tacked well to floor tiles. They are vynal floor tiles and need to be replaced when if I leave here... I rent here....could I nail it into floors? Small holes?

OK tonight I hear the dogs in bedroom playing while I am in living room on computer and tv going....well low and behold when I enter bedroom the old bed pillow I let them sleep on is shredded on floor...dang it! They shredded thing completely....it is trash now....Shep sulked around while I cleaned up...Tucker had no clue....neither of them got more than a scornful eye and a word of advice not to try that again! LOL
