Lurking.

I am here on almost a week of broken sleep. I don't know if it is the withdrawals from the Norco, or if now it is because of the pain. I'm really tired and wish I could get more than 30 minutes of sleep at a time. My whole body is exhausted right now and not even Nyquil will put a dent in it so I stopped using the Nyquil. Tomorrow I see the doc and will hopefully get at least 4 Norco a day script if that is what he wants and I will just take it at night and negate taking it during the day. This week has been the most challenging week of my life with the sleeplessness. I hope the rest of you are having a good night. Hugs!

I have been off and on this year. Between dealing with doctors changing meds all the time, trying to find ones that will work, and all the new medical challenges, my body is in rebellion :)

I see lots of new faces since I came back yesterday.

Lurking ... Yeah that sounds about right. :) However in my defense i did try to write something here the other day and my new medicine made it come out like it was Klingon , so i thought lurking was better until Klingon became English again :)

Hi Jcam! I am still here! I havent posted very much have been in so much pain that sometimes my patience is gone. I still care about my chronic pain family and read your posts everyday. I miss the ones qe have lost on here. Am glad for.the.ones we still.have. for i know that i am not alone. Thank you Jcam for calling us out of the woodwork of suffering. Angela

I'm here...been rough lately but I still lurk about and post here and there.

Jeremy...I am going to PM you to tell you what helped as I detoxed from Norco and, previously, the abrupt discontinuation of the Opana.

(((HUGS))) to all and wishing we all get some relief this Thanksgiving Holiday.

I am thankful to have friends and family who love me and are perfectly okay with listening to me whine about my constant pain. I am thankful for my parents and sister who, after a "freak out" last night, encouraged me to seek yet another medical opinion for treatment. They saw the unbelievable swelling and heard the horrid noises they were making. They wanted to take me to the ER but after my last experience, that is never happening again...unless I'm unconscious and can't protest. I will heed their advice and begin researching...again. They are right...I cannot continue to live like this.

Anyhow, thinking of all whether I am actively posting or lurking about.

I don't see why they won't just replace your knees despite your age. It's like planning for retirement and then dying a day before you retire. It Is all worthless unless you know how long you're going to live. You need your quality of life back right now while you're young and need to build your future. I hope you can find the best doctor in the world to perform the surgery on your knees that you need. I think if you had some way to pay straight up cash for the surgery, you might be able to find a good private practice to help you. Being sick and in pain is not cheap. If I didn't have help from my states Medicaid expansion, I would not be able to afford all of the doctor visits, meds, and bi-weekly blood tests. I'd be screwed. I hope you feel better Michelle and have a good thanksgiving day with your family. Hugs to the rest of you guys and I hope everyone has a good low pain, low stress thanksgiving day.

I'm on my way to see the doc. Please say a prayer for me that things go well. I also need an INR test. I have been taking my blood thinners blind for 2 months now. I hope all goes well!

Hi Jancam. I'm here! I'm only logged on a few times a week...but I'm here today. It's snowing like crazy up here in New Hampshire.

I'm dreaming of a white Thanksgiving...aaa...oh wait, it's a white Christmas....'Daa me", LOL
