Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
The one thing I think most of us agree on is that when a letter is sent it sould tell exactly what the problem is what ever the reply is that they see as a problem.
I know when I got my letter what replies they were talking about because I happened to be sitting here and watched them get deleted so In my case I can't say I don't know I did go over board that day but at the time I didn't think so.
Also accidents or mistakes do happen. I was deleteing emails and I hit empty basket by mistake and got rid of all my emails on my regular account.
Maybe the letter got sent to the wrong person.
Sending Hugs & Prayers to Everyone.

These letters are just a warning that you have been reported and that DS found your behaviour offensive or bad or whatever, they never tell you what or even where the offense happened.
Also it puts you on their list and when you get a second one the chances are you will be suspended for a couple of weeks. I think that depends on the elapsed time as I had two, didn't get suspended on the second, but they were a couple of years apart.
While Lady's letter has not told her she is banned (she could not post if she had been) IF it had and she tried to come back they would identify her by her computer's ISP (internet server's address). Several people have tried to return after being banned and DS has removed their new accounts as son as they have been identified. Also anyone who is suspended (usually for two weeks) IF they try to return - even under another name they will be blocked AND will be banned permanently.
There is no appeal process - as far as I am aware - and certainly never any reasons given for DS's decision. We are charged, judged and convicted without being able to give any defense. I do not think it is right but it is the way it has been set up from the start and to do it any other way would increase the work load on the staff to a point that the site would never be maintained or improved.
Lady I think that Little has a good point - it was probably because you did use CC's name on the subject. I am guessing of course but that would be my thoughts on it.
Freedom of speech? In our country it is a privilege and not a right.
I'll be keeping you in my positive thoughts, lady!!
you know i have your back.
bigtime.
if the button-pusher is reading this:
for SHAME!
xo, misa
the truth is, we'll never know, because it's LAME and they don't TELL US what we've done to cross the nearly INVISIBLE line.
i've never seen a grayer set of rules in all of my life, to be honest, and i must admit, that was NOT the way i was raised. if i had a dollar for every time my dad said, "there is no gray area, there's only black and white!" ... i'd buy you each a pony.
that's right, a pony!
so unless we get a letter and KNOW we've done something aboslutely egregious, the point is pretty moot. per the usual.
damnit, i need sleep.
yawn, misa
* Email...I'll PM mine... if you PM yours...*LOL* me first...
