Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Haven't posted about this before, but it seems like the right place and time... I sent a PM to Sandy asking her if I could have her address so I could send her something... (a funny card that made me think of her) part of her response really had me laughing:
"Ok, I'll bite. You don't seem like the stalker type; besides, having cp makes it hard to be a stalker-hiding in bushes waiting for me to come out of the house (which is rare).. You definitely need to be healthy to be a stalker! lol!"
There's more but it's not completely mine to share, so I'll refrain... But, there is also another part that chokes me up every time I read it:
"When I feel better, we really need to chat."
It's short and off-hand, but I will always regret never having that opportunity... a few days later, Sandy was gone.
I think of her often... and I miss her... and I'm very grateful for this opportunity to remember her and share stories with others who knew and loved her as well...
Peace,
Dave
