Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
i for sure over think things. i'm like a dog that just won't let the bone go! i've always been that way and its escalated with the wonderful depression that goes with cp.
by the way your post is not OT, it has to do with meds and life with cp.
hugs,
toni
Sorry this happened to you as at least at where
At i work we try very hard for this sort of thing
Not to happen. Unfortunately there are too
Many doctors and pharmacists that just don't
Seem to care about there patients. Almost everyday
I work i have to call a doctor that has prescribed
Medications together that would have horrible
Effects if taken together. If you have not already done so please report this pharmacist that made the error to your start board of pharmacy. Again sorry this happened to you.

I know that the stress of possibly losing my pm doctor would be enormous. I know that I can actually count on him to help me when I am in pain.
When he said, "see told you that those meds were necessary and you were just over reacting", I handed back the scripts unfilled and said, "maybe you don't understand everything there is to know about how the body works."
He has since done more study on thyroid.
I over think everything, I know, but in a situation like you endured, the out come needed you to think, and think clearly!
I write a lot of things down, look back at them and decide if I even need to have that thought in my brain....I'm lucky that my DH is a good listener! Poor Guy! Over time with CP I've had to let go of many things. I fear most the loss of my ability to think....so I think....keep thinking, but sort out the worry list, it can be culled! So glad you are here to tell the story! You have me thinking about double checking my double checking! Love ya! L
