Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

There is also a vague possibility of a very minor stress fracture - I know that with everything going wrong with me, I stress fracture the little bones in my hands and feet all the time. For a stress fracture, take some extra calcium with Vit D. It won't hurt you to take some extra if it is not a fracture, and will help it heal faster if it is.
Or it could just be your body being weird and giving you a phantom pain... but both of the above won't hurt if this is the case either.

Hubby read something on the internet that was a great quote, and I wrote it down, but I don't have the proper citations, so apologies to who wrote it!!!
"Pain is the body's way of saying that something is wrong" it went on to compare pain to the "check engine' light on the dash. If there is pain, something is wrong. Or to put it more plainly - don't' do it if it hurts! I would not walk on it at all if you can. Pick up a pair of crutches and stay all the way off it for a few days. Keep it elevated and use ice to help it heal.
Oh, and hubby commented that my 'check engine' light is stuck. sigh
