I've got my pills next to my bed too and as soon as I wake it's the first thing I do.
It's frustrating for me too, I used to be at my best in the mornings.
I am having to spend an hour in bed every morning now waiting for the pain pill to kick in just so I can get up and moving.

My days of tackling the day are over, but I will not let the day tackle me. I have no good advice, but I do want to say there are many here who have helped me.
