Kaiser- How Easy is It to Get Out of Network Cover

I am a male and I am currently seeing someone for pelvic floor dysfunction physical therapy. There arent many physical therapists out there that do this treatment. The majority of providers that do this type of physical therapy only accept female patients. How easy is it to get in network coverage for out of network provider services with kaiser?

I think you would have to call your provider and see what their policy is as each insurance is different. I know frustrating to call insurance as I always end up on hold forever.

I did not know being male it was harder to get appts that would be frustrating, as I am a women I never had not gotten a appt and did not know of such things as happening, sorry you are having so much trouble.

I can't say first hand but Ive had friends that had Kaiser insurance & had not one good thing to say about it. I have god awful insurance & they have jerked me around plenty, even the pharmacist & doctor were shocked.
There are boards with support & advice on insurance issues. You may want to do a search for one. Ive seen Kaiser come up time & time again.

    Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
