Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Mention this as well. Only 3 per day is not enough. IMO
Keep us posted.

Wish I could send you something besides a cyber hug that would take the pain away.
I took on 2 clients this morning and during the second one, pain hit my lower back so bad that I almost couldn't finish. It's horrible, now.
There better be a plan ready when I call the nurse. My doctor is only in the clinic Mondays and Wednesdays.
It's enough to make me start medicating myself any way I can.
In your message you say; "I've been planning to do two clients this morning, against doc's orders", that right there is the key, you need to stop doing hair, if you continue to this against Doc's orders, your pain will never be controlled. I am sorry if I am sounding harsh, but it takes one to know one, and I learned the hard way! Follow Doctor's instructions, if after you get your meds regulated, and you get your shoulder under control, then you can take a couple of clients here and there, but as long as you keep abusing your body, it ain't going to happen, no matter how high the dosage of Fentanyl goes, so learn Hun, learn from my experiences, follow the Doctor's orders, allow your body to heal, and then go on with the job that you love.
Take care, and I hope that your patch gets increased to at least 75 Mcg's. Hugs,
Tipper...I know, but I have to pay bills. Not that 2 clients can make a dent in he overall expenses.
I hate to say know u have to pay bills but their are many people that sit on their butt and are lazy and get state health insurness and food stamps.
You are one that CANT WORK 4A GOOD REASON!!! If you need help get on some state asents. Then work on getting disabilty. Normaly ppl are denied few times so sooner better.
Then when pain is more controled you could do a few hair cuts week. As i know most ppl that hair cut love doing it at same time.
I am 17 and i would love to go to public school. I cant though. I am in to much pain and my immune sytem is to weakend. So they bring teacher out to house. I am going to graduwate alot latter to.
I dont have choice though as i can only handel 2 subjects at a time. Due to health
You have to work around ur health.
Fingers crossed for relief,
Cherry
Hope that uping does helps you alot.
I know what you mean about paying bills. I live alone and I am on social security disability, I got a part-time job working for a friend of mine, and I first started with 3-6 hour days, but then it became 4 days, then 5... and this is when the my pain started to get worst, my PM Doc asked me if there was anything that I was doing that will up my pain, this is when I told him about PT job. He prohibited me from working more than 18 hours a week, and since I don't want to be more disable that what I already am (I walk with a cane), I decided to speak to my friend and told him what the Doctor said, and that was that.
I am not standing up, I am not doing blower or anything like that, I sit in front of a computer all day long, and that affected my pain, imagine what hair dressing is doing to yours?? I just tell you this because you worry me, is not that I am a biatch or anything like that, is just that if you don't take care of yourself, and follow Doctor's orders, you will be continuing getting worse each and every day, and no medication, no matter how potent will help you.
Take care and I hope that I come from a good place,
Hugs,
Hope you appt went well.
