What is your Diagnosis? I'm assuming you got Corticosteroid/Lidocaine or some pain agent injections. Its not unusual for them not to work. Generally about 3 out of 5 people actually get decent pain relief that lasts for a few weeks from the injections.
As for the constipation, thats not a side effect of Steroid Injections....have you started any other new meds or changed your diet?
Not trying to be an alarmist, but any time they do anything around the spine, it's good to let them know about any changes in sensation, bladder, or bowels.
I would call your docs office if only to let them know.
