I think my dosage is off

And by that I mean, my doctor has me on 2 Norco 10/325's a day... once every 12 hours. ( Mind you it's an IR med, not ER)

My pain has progressed, it's much worse than in November when he put me on it.

I wonder if I called, and let them know twice a day isn't cutting it... would that go over well? I don't want to screw up the little bit of relief I do get... I don't get my spinal cord stimulator for almost a month, and it's getting hard to stay seated in my car and walk up stairs : /

I just recently joined this group. Arthritis in my left elbow which isn't too much fun!

The 10/325 dosage can be administered every 4-6 hours if needed so I would call your doctor and see if that can be considered for you. I think it's more of an issue with the amount of acetaminophen that can be a concern. There's also more of concern in the amount of Norco if you are driving because of the side effects. It wouldn't hurt to try so I'd call. The doctor may increase the dosage if it's just for the short term.

Do not ask for increase of pain med during a phone call. I would advise to call and make an appointment to discuss medication instead.

I am PETRIFIED! I watched a YouTube video yesterday of the trial installation... Eeeeeek he's going to have to give me some anti-anxiety medication... he already knows I cry a lot during injections. I know, I know.... I shouldn't watch videos of procedures LOL

It is not as bad as injections. They give you tons of lidocaine before doing the trial.
Make sure you eat some sugar before you go in for the trial. Hugs

If the pain has progressed, then your doctor needs to know. He will probably put you on something stronger.

Aronia- I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to lidocaine. I used to have the lidoderm patches, and they made me break out in hives... I thought it was the adhesive until my GYN gave me a lidoderm cream for my pain... And after a week I broke out in hives all over my bum/leg.

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
