Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I know what I would do...I would carry my sea kayak to the beach and launch. I would spend all day out on the water, dipping my paddle in that beatiful water. It would be heaven to feel myself gliding across the waves once again. And to get the opportunity to see the sea life and be there is priceless. That is what I would do with my day, I have dreamed of it often. Hugs, Cathy
Following that I would head to a hot sauna followed by a bracing dip into a cool pool. The hot to the cold feels wonderful. Then I would have a long massage. I cannot do massages now because they hurt too much. A little work from a reflexologist and finishing up with a reiki cleansing. Oh I would feel like I was walking in the clouds after that.
At night I would meet up with friends to go out for dancing and laughter. I might even have a cocktail or two. If it was Beltane (roughly May Day), some of that dancing would be around a huge fire under an open sky and watching the real fire dancers. Walking away, looking up at a sky not so effected by human lighting, and seeing so many stars it is difficult to find the constellations.
At last I would take a power nap then take the return drive home, watching the sun rise as the stars twink out and the moon becomes a ghost.
Oh, how I would love this day.
If I can't have my life back totally, I don't want it back at all.
One day would only feel like frustration to me. Guess that I am weird.
