Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Try some local churches. Mine has a ministry that takes in items when they are no longer needed. Then they give them to people in need. The need does not have to be just $$$$. I'd say you are in need of a walker NOW!.
With your other issues, a week of imobility will make you feel worse.
I wish I was near you so I could give you mine from before the DX.
All I can do is pray the you get it soon.
Well, I found a way to raise my bed, and now I am in my room in my own bed, no more futton, and I have my walker sitting next to my bed, and that makes it easier for me. My neighbords have been awesome! I get someone at 5:00 AM to take care of me, and this lady is calling my insurance and PCP to make sure that all that I need is here. They are going to deliver my raised potty so going to bathroom makes it easier for me. They are also setting me up with daily nurse care, they come in, check me out and are here to inform my PCP of any changes or issues that come along with a person that has 3 bones fracture of the left ankle. I am blessed with wonderful neighbors that take care of me and Malcom, which is a huge relief for me; since I can not walk the dog myself.
I really appreciate all of the prayers and love that everyone is sending, you guys are another blessng for me, and I cry whenever I think of my blessings, it is AMAZING!! God has been good to me, so I can have the best care while at home and online with all of you! I go to the Ortho surgeon tomorrow at; 10:45 AM and he will make the decision if I need surgery or not, so please pray for me. Thanks, Lots of love and hugs,
