It's been a life saver for me.
I have'nt had any reactions to it either...thank goodness.
I was on the patch, but this works better for me.
Then there's Oxycodone, which I believe is stronger yet.
Taking either on an empty stomach is not advised.
I would wake up and blood would be all over my face and in my mouth. It was very troubling because I was only taking 6 per day.
Long story short....it was suggested that it might be the acetaminophen. Stopped all Vicodin and symptoms lessened. They thought the "bleeds" could also be from Toradol so that was discontinued. My drug of choice would have to be Toradol but it is very dangerous and can only be used short term.
I currently take Talwin NX. It is a relatively old narcotic that has an opiate blocker so that it can't be so readily abused. Hey, it works for me.
Not quite the stigma attached to Vicodin and some of the other widely used narcotics.
