Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Every time I think I'm done being shocked at these situations...eventually I'm shocked again.
All this complete jackass had to do was verify the script and he didn't
I'm not a litigious person...but, some cicustances just REQUIRE some action.....I wonder if there is anything actionable in his behaviour..
Oh...I'm so damn sorry you were put through this.
Hug...jc
So sorry this happened, there are so many ignorant people in the medical profession where we expect compassion. :(
Take action, you will be helping the next customer.
Hugs
I am going to call or write the head of Kroger because I am afraid if I only do it at the local level that it will easily be pushed under the rug.
And yes, it was loud enough for those around to hear these accusations. It was humiliating. I was in tears that my husband was put through that when it's my pain. He always helps because getting them filled is a chore that usually ends up with me being in more pain due to running around and waiting.
He even refused to verify them the next day because he insisted that it was fake and copied. Disgusting!! I must have cried for an hour.
I think pharmacist all should take a class on PM as they are so judgmental and do not know our medical information for all they know you could be in major pain from a surgery or something else. Then to say they were copied and fake and not call the police then he is just being a idiot as it would be his responsibility to call the police if he really thought that
Go get them girl, make him pay for it as he should not have done that and if you dont he will continue to act like a jerk to every person who brings in a RX that he thinks is to high.
Totally uncalled for...I am so sorry and kudos to CVS. I am finding excellent service with them at the mail order level. I ordered a script Monday night by phone and asked that it be sent business overnight. It was here this afternoon...
I do not like kroger...they have taken over a chain here and you are seeing corporate attitude throuhout the store..

re your situation linda, i would go to the regional manager and the state board which you can find online. this is so over the line that he should not be allowed to work in this business. i'm glad you got your scrips transferred. but i truly would not stop until this person gives your husband a personal apology, really.
i'm so sick of dealing with employees like this and hearing of others having to as well.
i'm sorry for you experience.
:-(

I mentioned it to a friend and found out the same man had given her hubby a womans medication by mistake and if he had taken it, he would have died!!! The pharmacist was a temporary floater and moved from store to store.
When I spoke to the management I requested the pharmacist be fired before he killed someone due to negligence and lack of self control and common sense!!! They then called my friend and verified her story and he was never seen working again!!!
