Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Music is one thing that has been with me since the beginning of being sick. I listen from the time I get up (usually in the middle of the night) until late afternoon when i turn on the TV. There are so many genres that I LOVE that help me relax. There is nothing like vintage blues though. That genre just resonates with me for some reason. I have music on my computer and tons on my phone too. Tigg, just a suggestion..,Try using ear buds with your phone. I find that if I am using the ear buds I remember to take and use my phone when around the house!!
The TV itself helps me too! I love comedies like Big Bang, but tend more to watch historical things like on the H2 channel like "Ancient Impossible" which is about the ingenuity people like the ancient Romans had. It's insane the technologies they had back then but got lost over the years!!!
These are just some of the things that help me. I can't get physical anymore like working in the garden, but at least I can still use my brain!!
Gentle hugs,
Jenna
