Just woke gramybear up with phone call. Glad I have both cell n home numbers because cell kept going VM but home woke her up!
She is having all kinds of pain and said doctor is taking her off all opiods tomorrow! Along with pain depression comes too. But I asked if she is safe and she said yes she is safe!

Sending prayers out for her as she finds how doctor plans to treat her pain w/o opiods!

So glad you had her numbers Bill and that you reached GB.
She is certainly going through some serious pain and changes right now. I hope the dr will be gentle with her.

I just saw this post at the end while I was looking for anyone who didn't have many replies. I can't say thank you enough for all of you who replied to OldCper's comment. I was overwhelmed to say the least. I had no idea anyone noticed I have not been on. Do you guys have ANY idea how good you make others feel? Well, just in case you don't, YOU DO! Doctor V didn't take me off of the opiates because of my high pain level. He took me off of the Norco because of the ups and downs and possibly causing my depression to increase. Since doing so, my depression has subsided. He put me on the 25 mcg pain patch and told me to add another if it wasn't strong enough, which it wasn't. I have to make an earlier appointment with him and see what we are going to do. I really need break through pain medication but I can't take any with Acetaminophen in it. My pain is all over my body. He did give me a muscle relaxer called Baclofen. It doesn't really help but sure makes me drowsy the next morning, making me sleep too much. He also gave me Trazodone for depression and insomnia. I haven't taken that as of yet. Any ideas guys for break through pain medication that doesn't contain Acetaminophen or an opiate? If anything even exists?? Again, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for caring. And thank you BillW for the phone call. You are an awesome man!!!! Many extra gentle hugs for all. Gramybear
