Good morning Angelajo.
Jan, all of your typos and name challenges :):):) crack me up. Helps me laugh at myself also.
Today is a strong pain day. Glad I do not have PT today.
My church's youth group is trying to earn monies for a wonderful summer event. So I put my name in for someone who would be willing to clean house and such. There was one young lady, 16 years old that offered to help. I met her yesterday. Very sweet and shy. She was a lot of help, so she will be willing to help as I need it.
Sad thing is she was in a car wreck and herniated a disc around the lower cervical and the thoracic disc. She may be having surgery on it. She will know in three weeks. She is in moderate continuing pain. I was afraid to let her lift anything slightly heavy. I pray they can help her. At 16 she does not need to join or CP world.
I found an agency in our county that helps Senior and Disabled people find extra help, like transportation to and from doctor appts. so I am waiting for them to call. The agency only takes messages and then give your request to one of their volunteers.
Wishing all a wonderful low pain weekend.
Hugs-RJ
I hope your tooth is not too bothersome and the dentist can fix it easily.
I know you have just moved back to your place, I hope your mother recuperated well and that you are not too worn out. It is nice that you 2 can be there for each other. Treasure the time.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Be safe.
Hugs-RJ
Pink today is your day. Butterflies in your tummy. Just think of that lovely frappuccino waiting for you after. I will be keeping you in positive thought.
JC your beat me to to good morning. I tried Night Owls last night
for Pink and DS was funky. You got it covered you and your battery operated candle. I will have to hold you in positive thoughts as I will be
at the doctor same time as you I believe.
The moral of the story is when it looks like shingles and acts like shingles it is shingles so pay attention. Now I am in full blown nerves involved shingles in a place on the chest one does not want them to be. A different place and a different look. One can't blame me. I have had recurrences of them in old place and told they weren't shingles so I just ignore any signs now. No question on this. I will see NP who I saw once before who told me you could only have them once. Should be interesting.
Angela nothing worse than dental pain, take those antibiotics and stay hydrated. Focus on endgame of that tooth out and healing. Sleep as much as you can.
RJ those that come in our life as the young lady who has come to yours is special and for a reason. First I think of is your super caring nursing ways. I bet she will help you with housework as well, just no heavy lifting. Good job on finding some assistance with rides.
Wishing all the best of what you make your day

Got hair buzz cut this morning for summer!
Baseball game tonight in front of tv is about all I plan for the rest of today...might take a nap....I could use some sleep....wish I was able to sleep in recliner and just konk out but I need to be in bed....
RJ - I agree with Hippy. Nurturing. I do hope you get the help you need though. And if that person just happens to be tall, good looking, nice body, well mannered and kind then so be it. LOL:)
JC - many a time have I been fooled by battery operated candles. They look so real. And yes, can be the safer option.
Many years ago before my ex-husband and I were married, we lived together and one night I placed tea light candles on top of the TV (before plasma tv). Blew them out and went to bed. At 4am the smoke alarms went off and we opened the bedroom door to see (or not see) the lounge room and kitchen thick with smoke. I saw the blaze in the corner of the lounge room. It was the TV on fire. The heat of the TV and the heat of the tea lights caused it. Funny now, not then. Had to clean the whole apartment. Learned my lesson!
Pink - I hope you are doing well after surgery. My thoughts have been with you. Can't wait to see your bubbly self on here in no time.
Angela - if I could give you my spoons for a week I would. Wishing you good days ahead.
[Georgie wants snuggles - so have to type 1 hand now]
Hippy - shingles! Horrible. Do you hallucinate when you have them? i did. was semi conscious and too weak to move for a week. I hope you do not go through the same.
Bill - you are a good son. Take it easy with the knees.
I am off for massage soon. And then getting winter dressing gown as the nights are getting cooler. Chores after that. Can relax later tonight with dvd and ice cream (full fat).
Sweet dreams all
Candles- I used to sell candles for fun. The ones I sold were natural and the wick was made to extinguish itself as a safety. Also the was was made so it melted but was not hot enough to burn you. My husband is on Oxygen so I can not burn candles within 25 feet of the Oxygen. That scares me so I bought the battery candles. They are nice, look and almost feel like candles. They have replaced my bedroom candles.
@Nessa, I would totally freak out at my TV being on fire. I keep fire extinguishers in the house just in case. I went through 2 of them when my daughter lived at home and tried to cook. She kept catching the kitchen on fire. :( She was lucky to marry a man who went to cooking school. He is a great cook. But I still bought him a fire extinguisher in case my daughter tried to cook. LOL
