Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Explain over and over that you need the cane because you have RA and your knees and feet are damaged. Honestly, I get so tired of answering to people for it. I wasn't using it for a few years, but I can't manage without now. People ask me if it is temporary. Perhaps a sign, saying "Yes, the cane is a permanent attachment."
Eeyow, Pre-Swinging is good for warming up the muscles prior to the strike.
Angel: Maybe a sign that says "Don't Ask." would thwart that question.
the head is my favorite old drivin hammer.(i was a farrier)
just put a handle on it like i did for years but used a three foot piece of inch and a quarter oak.
Kris.i'm gonna go look at that website.thanks for puttin that up here.
i love the idea of renting the disabled tag and eating the tic tacs ( i carry my pain pills in a mentos case to be less obvious, but i wish i could do that!
i'd really like to have a cane that says "don't f with me" b/c of people who turn while i'm crossing the street with the walk sign.
Maybe one that says, "tried that, didn't work"
"Been there done that"
"You try it first"
One of my kids love horses. A good farrier is a wonder.
Have you thought of producing a line of canes for the rest of us to use?
Thanks for the info
