It is cold and rainy here in the Northwest, enough to make the joints ache and the mind feel dulled by all the gray clouds.
So today we are going to a Scottish castle, I have not picked a particular one, so we are going to go generic today. And since I am in control, we will have our check in during the 6th century.
As you step out of your door you will be finely dressed in appropriate attire, yes, that means kilts with nothing underneath for you guys.The main hall is warm with a huge fireplace to keep things bright and toasty warm. There is a huge feast of all sorts of meats, cheeses, fruit, veggies, and some things that you won't be able to name, but taste wonderful!
Water is not safe to drink normally, but I have specified they use only bottled water that I have brought with me. There are ales, meads, fresh milks (cow, goat, and sheep), and I have also brought espresso and coffee, oh and tea.
The whole room if filled with food, music, painfree dancing, and stories.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
I will have coffee and some goats milk in it to cream it up nicely...
I had student this morning and it is sunny outside and in 80 degree range today...so very nice day to have the door open and windows open...
My dog Tucker tossed his cookies this morning after breakfast and a granulated raw hide treat....not sure if the combo so close together caused irritation that made my boy sicky....but he seems ok now...not unusually different than normal...I will wait to give him dinner unless he starts to complain about being hungry...LOL
Ah the castle is wonderful...I would go slay the dragon but I might not get home since that is Yadlim's avitar and I am not sure how to get out of this century on my own...LOL
I'm at work, super tired and sick to my stomach and pain pretty high. I came here looking for relief and your post is providing me with it. I'm imagining being in the Scottish Castle, and cracking up at Mr. BillWfriend as he struggles to cross his legs. (sorry mr. Billwfriend but you are providing me with a smile at your struggle...)
I can almost smell the air in Scottland..not that I've ever been there but in my mind it smells like fresh rain, and in reality that is what it's doing where I live, fresh rain to wash away the pain and to renew our energy.

Bill, I don't think I would wear a kilt to chase after the dragon. LOL Glad you had some students.
Well, I picked up the ventilator today and got more instructions than I could believe. It is not 24/7, thank goodness. I use it at night, and only during the day if my breathing gets too difficult. Hopefully I will get more energy from this.
amcarroll- sorry you are so miserable right now. Hope your symptoms improve quickly. I am all for the rain to wash away the pain, sounds good.
