My Mom has been in town for 5 days, we went to her lake home and all we did is shop, clean, work, I hurt so bad. Now I thought today I would have my life back, she missed her flight and is going to be there when I get home!
Also, hubby wants to go up north to his parents this weekend, I just cant do this travel every weekend, im not going, our marriage is not good, but all we do is work up there, last time we went he asked me what I was going to do for his Mom? So, I washed all her windows, 2 houses and vacumed and washed her wood blinds. Does anyone care that I have cp??

Oh, honey, I care and I know that others here care.

I know how much CP hurts and how tired we become from it. Take care of yourself first and foremost.

Sometimes we need to just say "no". I realize this may be difficult but you can practice this in a mirror if you need to.

How unfair that all is.

Boundaries with family are so damn difficult. Clearly, your family doesn't " get" it. How heart-aching that must be.

oh honor, dear girl, cry all you need and want to.

this is unfair, terribly, unfair. this is too much and you just have to set your limits. i'm sorry that your husband doesn't get it. i know what a stress CP puts on a relationship, but you must take care of yourself.

as sis said, we really have to learn to say NO!! i cannot do this. i hope he will be able to understand.

somtimes its crazy but no migth be the answer . cp is crappy things to have consumies you . take care of yourself frist , why did he asked that question or tell them your not do things that hurt you, if you go

Just say NO! I started saying no more, & if people don't like it...oh well!! I live with a boyfriend of 7 years. There's NOTHING physically wrong with him yet he can't seem to get off his lazy a** and lift a finger to help me with anything! I stopped cooking for him unless I feel ok enough that day to do it. It's hard for me since I'm usually a kind of perfectionist, hate clutter, & always had everything in it's place, but for my body I had to just stop doing EVERYTHING!
I think family & relationships can be the worst when it comes to understanding our pain!!!

Have your cry, Honor, and then get mad enough to say "NO!".

Unfortunately, our families and friends are sometimes the worst offenders of making unreasonable demands on us. They don't know to stop unless we tell them to.
