Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'm not eating anything b/c of the nausea, and my stomach feels less bloated. Could 2 be enough to start it ? God, I feel like this is taking every waking moment of my day. It's day 6 since I took the Immodium on the plane and things are JUST starting to move along.
Hopefully, this is the start of the end of the problem.
As long as you are passing gas, that is a good sign.
I tried suppositories to only find that by using 2 in one night, I could barely go. I had an enema ready but instead of doing that I ended up not taking my Kadian for ONE day. The next day it was like the flood gates opened up as I was still taking my breakthrough med for pain.
It's very hard for me to go an entire day without the Kadian but as long as I know I can stay at home, I do so & am able to go 3 to 5 times the next day; better than any colace or suppository could do.
IF you can, that is my best suggestion.
Best wishes,

The first pressure point mentioned in my book is just below the belly button. Press with a couple fingers and hold for a minute or so. Can be repeated and works best if done daily. Anoher good spot is slightly above the ankle bone toward the front.
Hope this helps. As soon as I can move, I'll dig the book out and check for more.
Hugs,
Cherry
