CHRONIC BLADDER PAIN

DOES ANY OF YOU HAVE CHRONIC BLADDER PAIN, I THINK I DO, AS I HAVE HAD ONGOING BLADDER PROBLEMS FOR THE LAST 4 YEAR APPROX., AND I TAKE ANTIBIOTICS AND ABOUT A WEEK LATER, MY LITTLE FRIEND IS BACK AGAIN, IT COULD BE DUE TO HYSTERECTOMY, A PROLAPSED BLADDER, NEEDS UPLIFTING, BUT I DON'T REALLY THINK SO, AND I HAD THE BLADDER SCOPE AND UROLOGIST TOLD ME MY BLADDER LOOKS GOOD AS I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE INTERSTITUAL CYSTITUS. ANY COMMENTS, HUGS.

Could it be a side effect of 1 of your medications? I got bladder pain, stiff bladder, urinary incontinence, and difficulty fully emptying my bladder after being on an antiseizure medication, lamotrigine. I have been off it 10 days and although the problem has lessened, it still there. My physiotherapist says there's a connection between the bladder and the lower back. Do you have lower back problems? You might find the information in Dr. Christiane Northrup's books helpful. She has a website, just google it. What comes to my mind is lack of estrogen. Does your urine show bacteria? Another idea is food allergies, I have heard that chocolate can cause urinary irritation. When my pelvis tilts a little inward, it feels like I need to pee all the time. If I go to the chiropractor and he adjusts my pelvis, the need to pee goes away. You could also try acupuncture. Lastly, drink a ton of water and make sure your underwear has a completely cotton gusset. Not a cotton lining next to your skin and a polyester or nylon piece on the outside of the gusset.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
