I don't remember a lot these days due to my meds so I don't know if I mentioned what happened at my pre op clearance appt. Apparently my EKG showed some irregularities and the PA told me I needed to see a cardiologist immediately and that I was currently stable. An appointment was made for me the next day. When I saw the Dr. He said that my EKG has been the same for the last 10 years. He did give me clearance with the understanding that I would have a new stress test since my last one had been a while ago. I kept my promise and scheduled an appt with him in July. When I saw my Pcp she had mentioned concern over one of my blood tests. Apparently one of my cardiac enzymes was elevated. She also wanted me to go for a stress test. I have an appointment July 28 with the cardiologist to set up an appointment for a stress test. I don't think I have anything to worry about.
I have now been discharged from Home Health and Physical therapy. I see my new Pcp in July as well to discuss the oxygen therapy.
I hope that will be reduced as well.
Can't write anymore. Pain is setting in.
Thanks for all your love and prayers.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

I m so sorry to hear there are more appointments!
Many times EKG changes may resolve or don't mean anything.
You just had 2 major surgeries and were incubated twice, right?
After any surgery the heart can be " tickled" due to general anesthesia.
I hope it heals and it will be ok. Good luck!!!
