It is a no win situation sometimes
As for the pills I keep my daily allotment in a small pillbox I carry in my purse or pocket. I just fill it up each day with the max I am allowed to take for a day. If I am in pain and wonder if I can take more meds I just take a look and see what is left. I wouldnt' be able to remember otherwise and even with this system I screw up a couple times a week. I always take 2 at a time so there are 6 of my regular pain killers in there with everything else. Sometimes at the end of the day I look and there is either only 1 or there are 3 - how does that happen, I'm sure I always take 2?? it baffles me
I also have a Fentanyl/Duragesic pain patch that I change every 72 hours. It has been very effective for me.
Take care and I hope everyone has a cool day=102 here today in Colorado; low pain level day.
Love & gentle hugs,
MaryKathryn
I noticed I'm getting worse with simple things such as names or words. I know we should keep our mind exercised as well as our bodies. Perhaps its time to take that more serious.
I did wonder if it something more to do with the meds. I know when my pain is up there I can't think, but there are times my pain is not the culprit.
Heck I'm under 50 so I hope this is not the beginning of another problem. Then again stress can cause this also. Stress, pain, meds & age, I'm beginning to understand....
Get yourself some type of pill dispenser, its not worth taking a chance.
