I have advanced scoliosis with a total fusion , pinched lumbar nerves and lumbar stenosis and fibro that attacks my back along with rsd that radiates to my back often . please accept the help u r being offered and welcome to ds . please continue coming here to get the support u need as we all do .... warmly , starsunshine

Thanks everyone! I am in an odd situation where my husband may be getting a job out of state that will offer us insurance. The thing is, the company keeps talking about moving us out but never does. So, i''m kinda stuck in the middle right now. I was about to apply for SSDI right before Hubby got the offer. Now, it's just an issue of knowing whether I will be on the east coast or west coast in a month. REALLLLY hoping for the relocation.

BTW- I was on PAC briefly which allowed me to see a general care practitioner. She basically just informed me that she could not treat me for either the stenosis nor the estrogen dominance/endometriosis I also have and that I needed to see a specialist for both. I told her I couldn't afford that and that is why I saw her.

I had a second visit with her where I was then told my PAC was denied.

Kuno, have you had a diagnosis from MRI's and other medical tests made ? The reason I'm asking is because if you're going to apply for SSDI or SSI you will need your medical records. SSA will get them. But, with you moving across the country it might be easier if you got copies of your medical records where you are living now to take with you to your new home. Also, I don't know if you're on any meds, but if you are it might help to have your medial records with you when you go and see a new dr after you move.

Do you have enough work credits for SSDI ?

Good point on getting the SSDI paperwork in order. I found out the hard way about their "recent work rule". I think filing protects you by marking the date. A good SSDI attorney can offer better advice. And yes, I have a laundry list of spinal problems and then some. Your avi is hard on my migraines so I can't write much more. Just wanted to respond that you're not alone and there's a lot of people here that can share their wisdom/experiences. Good luck with everything!
