I got so incredibly excited to see someone actually bump this thread ^^
brokenyolk- this therapy isn't for everyone, it's a relatively new therapy that is based of of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but involves more of a belief in the free will of the individual. Just like all treatments therapy is a very individual program.

thanks morwen! we getting our money's worth from your therapy
Today will be my last appointment before surgery, so it will be about 2-3 weeks before I can continue. My therapist is trying to get permission to do a house visit though while I recover. So today I'm going to ask him for lots of homework to work on till I start back.
I'm so glad that you guys are getting something out of this therapy too, and if you have any questions about it I'm happy to try to answer, or pass them along to my therapist.
If anyone would be interested, we could do a kind of informal group therapy here on the board where each week we post one of the assignments and those who are willing can share their results and we can spend a week talking about them and seeing how other people think and feel and maybe find new ways to open up to one another and explore ourselves. That way we could get even more out of it than just doing the exercises. And I would be able to point out things my therapist shared with me better and maybe answer some questions ^^
good luck with the appt.
I'll also try to get together a collection of some of my costume pictures and post them for everyone to see ^^
And thanks!
